Job Description
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, the eCommerce Manager will be responsible for all activities of FIJI Water & Wines on the assigned eCommerce channel/platform. This person will work with the senior leaders of FIJI Water to carefully analyze then choose the option that maximizes long term volume and profits for the company. The eCommerce Manager will carefully plan all strategic initiatives with the FIJI Water Logistics, Finance, and Marketing teams. This person will lead the execution of the plan with direct responsibility for in country logistics, gain distribution at major eCommerce customers, ensure appropriate promotions/merchandising activities, manage volume forecasting, and report business results on a regular cadence.
Responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing the digital sales strategy for China market
- Overall ownership for FIJI Water eCommerce channel management and responsible for the sales results, ROI management
- Cooperate with cross-departments to land brand marketing resources on the platform, maximize the platform resources, and ensure the marketing effect.
- Identify areas of opportunity to increase traffic and conversions using key word research, sales analytics and tracking tools.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the digital grocery business and analyze key competitor and retailer programs to provide insights and maintain competitive advantages.
- Develop a clear and measurable monthly volume and distribution plan to achieve overall FIJI Water objectives by channel. Gain buy-in from assigned distributors.
- Secure monthly programs and expand distribution in eCommerce channels of trade by setting benchmarks and calling on accounts both independently and with distributor personnel.
- Develop and implement regional programs to achieve agreed upon objectives. Monitor and measure results through monthly sales reports.
- Responsible for sales forecasting and expense control and verification at the assigned platform/customer.
- Maintain a trade level call point program to include all appropriate levels to ensure FIJI Water products are receiving the appropriate attention. Identify and resolve any customer concerns.
- Develop objectives by account and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels to maximize FIJI Water’s opportunities for expanded distribution throughout the account.
- Analyze monthly sales reports to identify opportunities, underperforming accounts or potential loss of distribution within each eCommerce platform/customer.
- Manage use of POS, wearables and all other resources to achieve objective within budget.
- Assist in other ad-hoc projects as necessary.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- More than 8 years of working experience in the Foods & Beverage or FMCG industry and including 5 years e-commerce industry. (Direct management of key eCommerce accounts like Tmall, JD etc. would be strongly preferred)
- Fluent in Chinese and English both verbal and written
- Excellent analytical and planning abilities to design and oversee programmatic business development efforts.
- BA/BS in related field (Finance, Business, eCommerce or Marketing)

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
