Clerk I - Scale

Overview:

Responsibilities will include signing in and out truck drivers and completing appropriate paperwork. The clerk will also provide daily/weekly reports from managers. Will coordinate shipping activities with sales and production personnel. 

Here’s what you’ll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Types manifest, export papers and bills of laden in an accurate and timely manner.
• Schedule appointments with truck drivers and to pick up orders.
• Weigh truck in/out for variety company
• Data entry
• Print out/send daily reports
• Daily security/gate guard
• Daily sales
• Safety inventory specialist
• Daily janitorial duties
• Daily mail duty
• Daily paperwork filing
• Direct plant traffic.
• Availability to work rotating shifts

NOTE: The supervisor, at any time, depending on the needs of the company, may add other duties.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to file and recall material in a standard filing system.
• Must have basic computer literacy
• Must be able to work in close office environment with several other staff.
• Willing to work long hours if needed
• Shipping, receiving, warehousing experience preferable.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals. 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical functions using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to analyze observed data to determine correct fruit flow and mix
• Some individuals may be required to have a forklift certification
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
