Fixed Term Account Payable Specialist

FIJI Water is bottle at source in a world class facility with state of the art equipment located at Yaqara and is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the open positions.

• Efficient processing of AP transactions, for both NWVL and Fiji Water Foundation in accordance with standard operating procedures.  These include:
  • Acquire and accurately match supplier invoices to Purchase Orders (POs) using the Inspyrus system and Oracle system
  • Acquire and accurate code and route invoices Non- PO invoices to correct flex data matrix
  • Review and terminate non invoices from Inspyrus daily logs
  • Perform supplier reconciliation and process supplier payments according to agreed terms
  • Prepare payment batches for review and payment approvals.
  • Upload payments on banking portal
  • Perform monthly prepayment applications.
  • Act as liaison with suppliers in resolving payment discrepancies and communication payment statuses
• Collaborate with Procurement teams to resolve holds and discrepancies
• Performs assignments of a varied and diverse nature as directed by the Supervisor and/or management.
• Supports organizational philanthropic, quality, and environmental initiatives and models the Company's core values..

Minimum

• Degree in Accounting /Finance or related area with 2+ years’ experience in a similar role;
• OR
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills or abilities have been achieved.

Preferred

• Preferred: Oracle Experience.
