Harvest Intern

Lewis Cellars is seeking Harvest Interns to join us in the heart of Napa Valley for the 2025 vintage! We are a small, tight-knit group of passionate professionals who take pride in the wines we make. We vinify Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards throughout the valley, from Oak Knoll to Atlas Peak to Calistoga. We also make Chardonnay from Sonoma’s Russian River Valley.

We offer a well-rounded learning experience for our interns and are committed to creating a positive and supportive work culture. You can expect to get your hands dirty and take part in every aspect of the winemaking process.

This internship will begin in late August and end in November, but the duration is dependent upon the growing season. This is an on-site position based in Napa, CA.

• Fruit receival and processing
• Fermentation management including Brix and temp, pumpovers, inoculations and additions, and pressing
• Cellar operations including barrel filling, racking, topping, and other wine movements
• Grape sampling and maturity analysis
• Lab analysis of musts, juices, and wines
• Plenty of cleaning and sanitation

• Previous harvest experience is a plus
• Solid communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, and a positive team-building attitude
• Ability to work entire harvest period from late August through November 2025
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended hours, 6 days per week during peak harvest
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, perform repetitive motions, and work in variable temperatures and weather conditions
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (plus potential overtime). Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
