In 2016, we moved to our new, state-of-the-art college prep campus in Delano, and in the Fall of 2017, added an elementary school in Delano and opened a second charter school in Lost Hills. In Delano, we serve over 1,800 students in grades TK-12, while in Lost Hills, we serve over 400 students in grades TK-12.

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for full time 8-week internship. In this position, you will gain hands on professional experience and learn how the department runs.
This position is based in Delano and begins June 17, 2025. The schedule for this internship is Monday – Thursday from 7:30am – 4:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities
Instructional Support
- Provide small group instruction in literacy and math to reinforce key concepts.
- Support math and reading by working with students who need additional assistance during whole group instruction.
- Use skill gaps identified by the teacher and lead small intervention groups targeting Math & ELA as assigned.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for students.
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
Program & Curriculum Support
- Organize and distribute class sets of curriculum materials for teachers and students.
- Assist in preparing and setting up instructional activities for the school year.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking and delivering curriculum resources including signing off rooms as "Complete" with all materials delivered.
Office & Administrative Tasks
- Support general office tasks such as making copies, organizing materials, and managing schedules.
- Assist in maintaining student records and progress reports.
- Help coordinate program logistics, including classroom transitions and scheduling.
- Communicate with staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be a Wonderful Scholar active and eligible for college success scholarship

- Must be 18 years of age and a junior or senior in college
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Livescan clearance
Pay: $18.50
