Fiji Water is bottle at source in a world class facility with state of the art equipment located at Yaqara and is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the open positions.
Job Description
- Overall responsibility for production performance (creating pallets of cases of bottled water) including volume, ME, waste, product quality and system/process adherence for designated Line
- Oversee, manage, follow-up production plan, set goals, manage direct reports' performance, train and develop leaders to achieve targets
- Lead CI and RCA, control line waste, ensure hand palletizing is done when Palletizer stops, assist on the floor to ensure optimal line performance OEE
- Plan and effectively work towards multiskilling employees and ensuring all task are well covered with correct skill set
- Developing high performing team leads and operators capable of sustaining operational excellence initiatives and continuously hitting goals
- Support organizational quality and environmental initiatives across the site.
- Analyze production results to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead health and safety culture to ensure hazard identification and correction are done to prevent incident.
Qualifications
- Form 6 level education
- Trade Diploma in manufacturing or 3-5 years in manufacturing / operations leadership Extensive experience in bottling or other processing environment
- Competency in using Lean problem-solving tools
