EHS Training Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Training Specialist to join our team. This role requires working independently to coordinate the EHS training programs. The ideal candidate will excel in planning, organizing, and executing training initiatives with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.

Here's what you'll do:

• Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring all logistics are managed timely and effectively
• Track and manage training records, including attendance, assessments, and certifications
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all EHS training-related inquiries
• Communicate training schedules, requirements, and updates effectively across various channels
• Collaborate with external vendors and facilitators as needed for specialized training content
• Prepare and distribute training materials, including handouts, presentations, and manuals
• Ensure all training programs comply with relevant EHS regulations and standards
• Prepare and present regular reports on training activities, progress, and outcomes to management
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective
• Support with EHS training sessions and workshops to employees, ensuring clear and engaging presentations
• Assist EHS Safety Trainer with hands-on training exercises and simulations to reinforce learning and ensure competency
• Assist with addressing participant questions and provide additional support as required
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, adjusting as needed
• May require minimal travel
• All other duties assigned by the EHS Training Supervisor

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

• High School Diploma required; AA/AS Degree preferred
• Proven experience in training coordination, EHS management, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in using training software and tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Forms)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high level of initiative and autonomy
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Bilingual Spanish/English required

Pay Range: $18.52-$20.15 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
