In partnership with the AVP of Sales, Customer Service, Membership, and Directory Operations, this position is primarily responsible for implementing Teleflora’s sales commissions programs across all sales teams and providing regular and ad-hoc analysis for the business. The Manager is expected to focus on synthesizing data to calculate and pay periodic commissions programs, while also leveraging insights to support sales strategy, formulate and refine sales approaches & campaigns, and drive performance management for the sales organization. Additionally, the position will partner with key stakeholders across the company to modernize current business operations, improve operational efficiencies, and provide strategic recommendations.
You'll have the option of working a hybrid work schedule of Monday-Wednesday in the office, and Thursday-Friday from home! Working remotely is a voluntary benefit and ability to work in office on Thursday and Friday is available. This role is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
Job Description

- This position will manage the comprehensive end-to-end processing of commission plans and sales incentive payment calculation for all commissionable positions, and be responsible for field territory alignments
- Leveraging your strong business acumen, technical skills and deep analytic background, you'll empower Sales teams by creating efficiencies, assessing performance, and delivering insightful reporting that fuels results
- Collaborate with internal clients to respond to ad-hoc report requests. Gather specifications for data and report requirements, provide consultation on report design, produce and quality check report, and work to eliminate duplicative reporting
- Develop, evaluate, refine, and automate analytic models using data to address client ad-hoc requests, performance issues, business needs and identify areas of optimization and growth
- This role requires a proven work ethic and a willingness to take ownership
- You'll collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and data teams to tackle challenges, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver high-quality results
- Maintains a complete understanding of company goals and objectives and collaborates with the team to align commission programs with company objectives. Plans, manages, and executes the development and maintenance of processes to calculate and pay commissions and incentives to brokers and internal sales personnel
- Understand and anticipate business performance, requirements and gaps of the sales team and represent those requirements and business needs through key initiatives. Proactively identify ways we can help contribute to achieving the business goals and improve business performance
- Drive ad-hoc analysis as assigned by leadership in support of business activities and act as project manager for special projects and new initiatives, working cross functionally to drive results
- Analyze data and report on it in a clear, concise and easily communicated fashion
- Communicates with sales leadership about details of sales, commissions, and bonus payments
- Documents requirements to make appropriate updates in commission system as new compensation plans are approved or existing programs are modified
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and leads projects to implement recommended enhancements
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and drive efforts to improve the overall sales compensation foundation
- Analyze historical results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and design financial models when necessary

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other business discipline
- Experience building dynamic financial models
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, familiarity of PowerBI a plus
- Experience using SQL preferred
- Experience in managing and maintaining commissions programs preferred
- Prior success in operational process improvement to reduce non-value add time spent on tasks

- Self-starter and strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects
- Organized, detail oriented, and exhibits a high degree of professionalism
- Possess strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisions with little direction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Outstanding organizational skills. Ability to structure workplans and prioritize activities on multiple simultaneous projects
