As a key member of the Arils team, the Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate production activities, working closely with team leads to prevent overproduction and maintain high-quality standards. The primary focus will be on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by validating Standard Work Sequence (SWS) processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. This critical role carries significant responsibility during the peak season, requiring strong leadership to prioritize quality and safety while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Compensation- $70,000-$80,000 Salary

Job Description
What our Arils Production Supervisor will do:
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback, including conducting corrective action conversations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Strategically plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet set targets and deadlines, ensuring strict adherence to established production centerlines.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics to ensure seamless production operations.
- Enforce and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Arils manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain the functionality of equipment, proactively initiating maintenance or repairs as necessary.
- Effectively manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safety-aware culture within the production team, and collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Observe and enforce safety, GMPs, and Food Safety programs, and attend appropriate training sessions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency in the production process.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for upper management review to facilitate comprehensive performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage the Arils facility FMDS (Floor Management Development Systems) board and conduct daily meetings.
- Collaborate with the sanitation lead to identify key cleaning areas and implement enhancements to sanitation procedures.
- Assess the required workforce and develop a labor model aligned with production requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: At least 2-4 years progressively responsible Production experience in a supervisory capacity, with a specific emphasis in manufacturing preferably within a production/manufacturing setting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
